Retreat on a Whim

Come join us for an open retreat in July. The cost is $80 per night with lunch only. We also offer day retreats from 9am to 5:30pm for $45 per day lunch is included. Spring Open Retreat April 9th through April 12th 2026

Hello Retreaters,

We have a new Open Retreat happening April 9th through the 12th

We are offering Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Its $330 per person. This is hosted by Jim and Margie Hall

He has reserved a retreat center, he was hoping to have a men’s retreat, but unfortunately , he had no takers. Margie and Jim would like to open this up to all our local ladies who want to have fun (and sew, sew, sew).

Open Retreat

Location: Queen’s Rustic Retreat in McQueeney, TX

Dates: April 9-12, 2026 (Thu - Sun)

Cost is $330 for 3 nights

Meals are included in the price, including lunch on Thursday (not Sunday)

Arrival can be as early as 8 am on Thursday

Important features:

- Rooms are in the same building as the sewing area

- Beds are all twin size, number per room varies from 2-5

- Please inform me if you have a preference for a roommate.

- There is a wonderful quilt store nearby, called Fiberworx

- Sewing area has many design walls, ironing and cutting stations.

Deposit is required to hold your spot, $50.

Full payment of the balance is required by February 28, 2026. Check is preferred, if another payment option is needed, contact me directly.
